Mainly used in the coatings industry, such as petroleum resin emulsion for enhancing synthetic latex paint, light-colored petroleum resin for the manufacture of oil-based varnish to improve the gloss and adhesion. Also used in the rubber industry, a resin with a low softening point as a plasticizer, a resin with a high softening point to improve the hardness of synthetic rubber. Also for the preparation of adhesives, traffic signs paint, printing ink and paper hydrophobic agent.
