Loctite 598 glue plane seal silicone rubber is a high performance, one-component silicone sealant gasket. Rugged, flexible, anti-aging; it does not harden when weathering and thermal cycling, shrink, fracture; also resistant to UV light and ozone. Black, single-component, oxime cure does not collapse, non-corrosive, low odor, low volatility; primarily for flange sealing with good oil resistance, and can meet the requirements of the joint surface reciprocal movement, for example: stamped metal plate covering (the timing cover and oil sump); Gaps fill up to 6mm. Purposes: for oil pans, valve covers, transmission, valves and guides, timing gear cover.
