45 steel substrate thermal sprayed layer microstructure and properties of stainless steel thermal spray Masahiro

Masahiro thermal spraying by optical microscopy, scanning electron spectroscopy, X- first diffraction and various mechanical testing methods for the organization and performance of 45 steel substrate thermal sprayed layer were studied, results showed that after spraying the wire coating T8 organized by the coating material is a mixture of oxides and porosity thereof; EDM transition layer of nickel brushed iron - nickel alloy layer, wherein the non-uniform distribution of a small amount of needle-like martensite; 45 steel heat affected zone is also into horse s body. Spraying the adhesive layer and the substrate strength is 12MPa, the bonding strength of the coating itself 162MPa, abrasion coating layer is higher than the substrate.
