Japan PSE certification bodies

Japan PSE certification is mandatory safety certification for electrical and electronic products have been proved by NEC and Material Safety Law (DENAN Law) or the international safety standards IEC standard test. DENTORL Law of Japan (electrical equipment and material control law) provides 498 kinds of products into the Japanese market must pass the safety certification. Among them, 165 kinds of products should be made a Class A diamond PSE Mark, 333 kinds of products should be made round Class B PSE mark. According DENAN requirements, through PSE certified products must meet the relevant requirements of safety technology benchmark. Japan's electrical product safety technical benchmark in two ways: (1) Japanese technical reference 1, referring to Japan's technical standards, the standards and technical requirements of IEC standards are quite different, alone into the system. (2) Japanese technical reference 2, is consistent with the relevant IEC standards standards promulgated by the Japanese government in 2002, but not all electrical products are corresponding technical reference 2 standard. Manufacturers can choose according to the technical reference 1 or 2 for technical reference checks, can be affixed after passing the PSE mark. In general, the technical reference 1 and reference 2 can not be mixed. PSE certification applicant may be a manufacturer or importer. DENAN also requires buyers name or ID label on the product in order to manage its supervision of the sales process in the future. Products imported into Japan, its safety responsibilities borne entirely by Japanese importers, therefore, importers must save the test reports and inspection records, inspection records can also be viewed via a computer network.
