Yorktrade is a foreign trade institute that offers a number of comprehensive, classroom-based e-commerce certificate programs, that harness the foundations in uniform customs and regulations applied in traditional international trade with the internet"s business-to-business strategies and consumer sales techniques in order to:
1) Help individuals become specialized in the fields of foreign trade and e-commerce without having to meet the extended requirements of a standard degree program offered at a college or a university, thus enabling them to have a competitive edge in finding a job, furthering their career, or to establish a business of their own (ex: a foreign trade company or an export management company)

Cooperated with York Importers and Trading Company, Montvale, New Jersey, Yorktrade Institutes were consecutively established in Izmir, Turkey (July 2003), in Istanbul (April 2004), and in Denizli and Sakarya simultaneously (May 2005), harnessing its faculty"s skills, talents and experience to provide effective and affordable programs nationwide that emphasize e-commerce for those willing to enter international trade platforms that are either stand alone e-ventures or integrate e-commerce as part of traditional business models that have not yet incorporated the web and the internet to formulate business-to-business strategies.
Accredited by the Small and Medium Industry Development Organization of Turkey, referred to as KOSGEB from hereinafter, (a non-profit, semi-autonomous organization responsible for the growth and development of SMEs, established by the Turkish Government in 1990 with the primary mission to develop and support the mechanisms which would increase the SMEs" competitive capacity both in national and international markets), Yorktrade is Turkey"s first and leading institution to provide a certificate to its graduates that is accredited by the Turkish Ministry of Education.
