| I am a small start-up biofuels company interested in gassification and syngas technology. There are several known catalysts for synthesis of various alcohols from CO and H2 gas, however most of the good catalysts are proprietary. I am seeking a supplier who has experience in the area of fuel synthesis to provide the catalysts needed for various aspects of syngas clean-up as well as alcohol synthesis and refinement. I am perticularly interested in any catalyst that is selective for higher weight alcohols such as butanol. |
